How this site handles your details.

Who I am

I am Onyeka Ogbonna, a sole trader based in Gateshead, UK. I decide how the information you send me is used. You can reach me at [email protected].

What I receive

When you use the enquiry form, your email app opens with a message ready to send. Nothing reaches me until you press send in that app. The message contains your name, the way you want me to reply, the topic you chose and whatever you wrote. If you message me on WhatsApp, I receive your phone number and your messages.

Why I use it, and the legal basis

I use it to answer your enquiry and, if you ask for a quote, to prepare one. The legal basis is legitimate interests: you contacted me and expect a reply. I do not add you to a mailing list, sell your details or use them for anything else.

Who else handles it

Your email goes through your email provider and Google (Gmail), which hosts my inbox. WhatsApp messages go through WhatsApp, which has its own privacy policy. This site is hosted by Cloudflare, which records technical data such as your IP address when you visit, and runs a bot check. The site loads its fonts from Google Fonts, which also sees your IP address. I do not use advertising or analytics cookies.

How long I keep it

If we do not work together, I delete your enquiry within 12 months. If we do, I keep project records for 6 years for accounting and legal reasons.

Your rights

You can ask to see what I hold about you, correct it, or have it deleted. Email me and I will reply within one month. If you are unhappy with how I have handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
